  • Event Grants - The Moab Area Travel Council will provide grant assistance to organizations to aid in the development of tourism. The purpose of the grant is to increase the level of tourism in Grand County through new or fledgling events that could become annual events. For guidelines visit www.grandcountyutah.net/travel.htm

Thursdays Moab Information Center 2010 Lecture Series

Saturdays Moab Art Walk
Stroll Moab's galleries, shops, and cafés and view some of the region's finest locally created artwork. From traditional painting, pottery, and sculpture, to large format landscape photography, mixed media, bead and stonework, woven articles, and jewelry, the Moab Art Walk offers diverse, quality exhibits inspired by the region and it's inhabitants. The Moab Art Walk hosts artist receptions on second Saturdays in the spring and fall, however most exhibits run for a month or more so feel free to stop in at participating locations anytime!   20 WabiSabi Fashion Bizzare 2010 - Moab Montage
The WabiSabi Mardi Gras Fashion Show is a Moab institution, highlighting the town's creatively wild side. Volunteer designers spend a year crafting themed fashions out of community castoffs, and these outfits are displayed with flair on the catwalk by Moab's top models. The designs are then auctioned off to benefit Moab's nonprofit organizations. It's a win-win-win event, entertaining the community, recycling its unwanted items, and benefiting its residents in need.
  27 Puttin' on the Ritz
Puttin' on the Ritz is Seekhaven's annual fundraiser.  Join us this year in celebrating twenty years of service to victims of domestic violence and the homeless in our community. It will be an exciting night of dining and dancing at the Red Cliff's Lodge. For more info call 435-259-2229.

The three rides of the Skinny Tire Festival highlight Moab’s different road riding opportunities. Channel the energy of riding through this grandeur of Moab’s canyon country by putting purpose behind your cycling. This event raises funds for cancer survivorship programs.   19-21 Moab Community Theatre Performance - Fictional Animals is a collage of theatrical shorts exploring the pleasures and perils of intimate human relationships, written by Moab's own Chaz Howard. For mature audiences only. The play will be performed in Moab's historic Star Hall (159 E Center St). Tickets are $8 in advance at Arches Book Company or $10 at the door. Easter Jeep Safari consists of trail rides, mostly day long trips, departing from Moab throughout this week long event. The Red Rock 4-Wheelers of Moab officially runs approximately 9 different trails every day, with "Big Saturday" culminating in the largest ever single trail ride departure happening - around 30 groups line up in down town Moab to head off in every direction for 30 different trails! The Moab UTV Rally is the largest and most epic UTV and Side by Side event in the United States.
